employability
HR
the potential for obtaining and keeping fulfilling work through the development of skills that are transferable from one employer to another. Employability is affected by market demand for a particular set of skills and by personal circumstances. Employees may take responsibility for developing their own employability through learning and training, or as part of the psychological contract, employers may assist their employees in enhancing their employability. An important factor in employability is the concept of lifelong learning.
